There wasn’t really much to go by on the unusual kid, but the fact that he was definitely not from this world. His odd black and white colour tones and animal like features made him easily identifiable from the humans around him. They seemed to whisper words of uncertainty, and maybe even fear. They were afraid of the unknown. But they didn’t need to be. This, was Yakko. A cartoon creation and character from the beloved show, Animaniacs. Now surely everyone knew that show, right? The Warner Bros. and their sister, Dot. This particular brother, was much taller than the other two, and he seemed much brighter too, in personality and heart. Though wacky and zany, there was just something about the Warner Bros. that made them unique. Their creation. Made entirely for the show, Animaniacs.
Where did they originate from exactly? How, did they come to be who they are? Well, these three, after their creation, were completely confined in the towers of the Warner Bros. Studio tower. A water tower that was meant to keep them trapped and concealed. It’s known from the creator that these three actually never were younger than they are now, and in fact were created at the current ages of 14 for Yakko, 9 for Wakko, and 6 for Dot. However, after their escape from the tower, they grew and learned naturally just like any child would. The year of which the Warner Bros. were free, their bond developed even stronger as the entire trio would cause chaos and drama everywhere they went.
One individual in particular, Dr. Scratch, is a licenced and achieved Phycologist on the Studio grounds, and due to the Warner Bros. escape, was assigned to the three to keep them in check, and see around a way to calm them down when they very first managed to get out of the tower. Though, that wasn’t exactly the easiest of tasks, after all, Yakko, Wakko and Dot were created, designed, ‘made’ to be zany, wacky, and it was an element that could not really be taken out of them. But, as seen through the elements of the show, the trio actually began to adapt, to learn, and even … calm down. Yakko especially. It seemed that the understanding and realism of the world they were in caused the trio to form bonds with their newly assigned Phycologist, Dr. Scratch, and heck, even see him as a minor father figure. The factor that these kids never had family to begin with, made it ever more powerful on the subject of the bond of love and devotion as parents could provide to kids.
Despite all the three had been through, and the dramas, the stories, the histories that they have told and shared with us, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are still, in fact, just kids. Three unstable crazy kids that may very well need a bit of insight into developing in their lives. Yakko himself, being the older of the trio, seems to guide his brother and sister, and they in turn somewhat follow him back. Yakko often corrected Wakko and Dot, and would even insight them about certain things in life. This bond of the trio is that of inseparable, and something that cannot be broken.
Not much else is truly known however, about their histories, other than their creation and purpose as entertainment. They’ve all been through many adventures far beyond my ability to count, of which all told a story of a certain subject to entertain and educate. Yakko, Wakko and Dot have learned, but also been stubborn to ignore, not wanting to ever be the desired educated children that everyone wants. But that is just who they are, and truth be told, it’s something that can probably never be changed. And, well, honestly, I wouldn’t really want them any other way, would you? After all. It’s the Animaniacs! They’re Zany, to the max!
⚜ Thanks for being here, I'm just going to ask you a few questions. First things first, what's your name? Already the black and white creature wasn't paying attention, even though it looked like he was. He sat upright in the chair, his tail twitching behind his baggy pants, and those loppy ears seemed to twitch as the human spoke to him. But there was nothing there, no answer, no brain. Nothing. He was blatantly not listening at all. "Ehhhhh." The silence prolonged for ages until the Cartoonus snapped back into the surrounding room, and yawned massively. "Yakko." A large smirk broadened on his face, and he leaned close and tight to the interviewer. "Whhhhy?" But the person with the clip board quirked a brow before leaning back, trying to ignore the odd monotone animal.
⚜ Achem, how old are you? Quickly, Yakko leaned back against the provided chair he sat in, giving off another massive yawn pretending not to listen again. "Why?" It was obvious that the interviewer was starting to get annoyed already, with the way that he tapped his foot and even tapped his pencil on his clip-board. "I'm all for this interview, but isn't asking someone their age a bit ... ruuuuuude?" He'd smirk once more and flop on the chair until he bounded onto his feet. His hand reached to place a sudden magnifying glass to the guys face, as if examining him with more detail. "I mean, how do you like it if I say you're old. And I mean reeeeeeeealllly old? Look at this wrinkles! You need an ironing to sort those creases out." Placing the magnifying glass away, he retrieved an iron - from where, who knows - and held it up to the guy, gesturing about ironing out his creases. Of course, the poor man moved himself away from the bizarre actions of the Cartoonus. Was he being serious?
⚜ What exactly are you? All of a sudden, Yakko flopped back in his chair again and tapped his chin in an idle curious manner. "Ya know? I don't really know." As if he were serious. Maybe he was? But it was kinda obvious with the sarcasm in his tone that he was far from being sincere about this answer. "As far as I know. I'm me." Not exactly the answer the person was really hoping for. "Not a dog or a cat. And that is that." Smirking, the Warner gave his own tail a wag, as if teasing the very question even more with curiosity of his species. "How bout that?" He questioned, leaning in closely once more until a sudden smooch to the poor guys cheek caused him to swat at Yakko, trying to fend him off. How strange.
⚜ Is the story of your life a comedy or a tragedy? Another big sarcastic yawn escaped him. All of these questions were obviously starting to dwindle his attention span. The notions of rocking his chair back and forth and mindlessly playing with things on the desk were obvious signs of this. "Huh, you said something?" The tension was building again, and the interviewer sighed, scribbling down something. "Watch'a writing huh? Are you writing everything I say?" He'd curiously chuckle and stand up again, leaning over the desk to examine the clip board. The man though moved it away, trying to withdraw it from the pesky kid. "Awww c'mon. It's not that much of a secret. Is it? ... Or is it?" Those eyes widened and he gasped. Suddenly, his finger pointed at the man, in a random over dramatic notion of fear. "You're taking all of my life down on paper! Oooooo! That's invasion of privacy!"
Quickly, he grabbed the clip board with an effortless swipe, examining all the questions on the list. And that was that, immediately, Yakko's face frowned and it was obvious that he was not approving of it. "No way am I sitting here answering all these questions." His attention diverted, glancing up toward someone reading this very sentence. You.
"You weren't seriously going to sit here and read me answering all of these were you?" Yakko's face seemed to push into yours. His gloved hand reached out of the very screen itself to push the scene aside, and the interviewer out of the very box itself. He now stood in the empty white page of the forums scripts. "Well, we'll have none of that!" The brother reached for the non existent pencil, scribbling all over the paperwork to remove the questions that were listed. "There, that's MUCH better!" He'd state, before chucking the board aside. With that out of the way, he pushed himself closer to you, before both his hands grabbed the edges of the screen. With that broadened smile he leaned in to give the middle of the screen a huge smooch. "Now that you're here, and you're reading everything I say. How about this. That above us, that interview, let's ignore that. Instead. Why don't we have fun, right here, this place called Heartsigh! I think that's wayyyy better." He paused. Before he'd quirk a brow. And offering out a large gloved hand, he gestured it toward you. "Wanna?" A big cheeky grin on his face. "Trust me. It'll be funnnn!"
